ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY - The 2016 season started on Saturday afternoon for the CMSV women's soccer team, as the Dolphins took on Bard College in a non-conference match. Bard (2-0) won the match 2-1, thanks to, two goals in a six minute span early in the second half.
The Dolphins lone goal came in the 73' minute by
Kelly Gibison, her first of the season. Gibison one-timed a cross from
Caroline Criscuola, who sent one in from the left side to Gibison's who buried it home from the top of the box.
CMSV only took two shots in the first half but responded in the second half by taking eight shots, three of which forced the Bard keeper into making saves.
Elizabeth Martin started and played all 90 minutes, stopping five of the seven Raptors shots.
