Maloney led all players with 19 kills, while tieing for the team lead in digs along with P. Sewell with 14.
Holding a 2-1 lead in sets entering the fourth, the Dolphins worked hard to earn a 26-24 match clinching victory. Throughout much of the early and middle portion of the set, both teams traded points with strong attack play and great passing. The Mount seemed to take an advantage after winning three straight points to take a 21-19 lead. A Maloney kill gave the Dolphins set point with a 24-21 lead but back-to-back points by St. Joseph's led to a CMSV timeout. The Mount dropped the next point but Maloney would smash a kill to give her side a 25-24 lead, then the Dolphins would win the match on an attack error by the Golden Eagles.
