GRANTHAM, PA - The CMSV Men's Soccer team traveled to Messiah College on Saturday to take on the undefeated Falcons hoping to notch their third victory of the season.
Messiah took control of the game early, scoring three first half goals, the first of which came just 7' into the contest. The Falcons second goal came via penalty kick, after Mount keeper
David Melchor collided with an attacking Messiah player inside the 18-yard box and the Falcons would put the PK shot past Melchor into the right side of the net.
In the second half, the Falcons would get two more goals, another via PK in the 56' and the final goal in the 61'.
The Dolphins managed only one shot on the evening, off the foot of
Julius Tumukunde, with none testing the Falcons keeper.
Padelis Astrindis came in for the final 23:49 to play goal for CMSV and was called on often, making three saves in that time span.
