PATCHOGUE, NY - The CMSV Baseball team returned to action Saturday afternoon taking on St. Joseph's College-Long Island in a Skyline Conference doubleheader. The Golden Eagles took both games from the Dolphins by a score of 7-1.
SJC-LI 7 CMSV 1 - Game 1
In game one, St. Joe's got on the board in the first inning scoring an unearned run off of Dolphins starter
Michael Kochen, due to an error by the CMSV outfield.
The Golden Eagles scored two more runs in the second inning and would get one more in the sixth inning and three in the seventh to put the game out of reach.
Kochen started and went 6.1 innings giving up six hits and seven runs (six earned). The CMSV bats were limited to just five hits with
Steven Giustino,
Keith Schroeher, Matt Nesensohn,
John T McEwan and
Craig Weber recording them for the Dolphins.
SJC-LI 7 CMSV 1 - Game 2
In game two, the Dolphins pitching was done in once again in the first inning as CMSV starter
Tyler Krolikowski was touched up for three runs, two unearned in the bottom of the first.
In the fourth inning the Golden Eagles added four more runs to take a commanding 7-0 lead.
The Dolphins offense once again was limited, scratching across only three hits and scoring one run in the top of the sixth inning as Giustino scored on a wild pitch.

The Dolphins return to action Sunday 4/24 for Senior Day when they will host St. Joseph's-Brooklyn at Salesian High School in New Rochelle, NY at 12pm.
