Dolphins Top Yeshiva & Sage At Tri-Match

CMSV Pushes Win Streak To 3

NEW YORK, NY - The CMSV men's volleyball team won both matches at a Skyline Conference Tri-Match Sunday afternoon on the campus of Yeshiva University.

The Dolphins defeated hosts Yeshiva 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-15) then took down Sage 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18). The victories push the Dolphins record to 6-11 overall and 4-3 in Skyline play.

Against the Maccabees, as a team, the Dolphins combined to hit .400% and total 35 kills, while serving up 13 aces. Neven Skoblar led the way with 10 kills, while also adding 3 total blocks. Tyler Cucullu tallied nine kills, four aces and four assists. Setter Logan Dickover tallied 24 kills.

In the second match the Dolphins took on Sage for the second time in a week and avenged last Sunday's 3-0 sweep with a 3-1 win.

Over the course of the four sets CMSV hit .284%, while tallying 52 kills. Cucullu and Skoblar led the way again this time each smashing 14 kills, while Jordan Steiger added 13 kills of his own. Dickover was excellent setting his teammates as he tallied 44 assists.

The Dolphins return to action March 2, when they will travel to Bronxville to take on Sarah Lawrence College at 7pm.
