ALBANY, NY - The CMSV Women's Basketball team returned to action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Albany to take on Skyline Conference foe, Sage College. The Gators downed the Dolphins 77-48, snapping the Mount's three game win streak and putting the Dolphins at 4-5 overall and 3-2 in conference play.

Ryan Doherty were the only Mount players to score in double figures with the senior guard scoring 14, while the junior forward added 10. The Dolphins struggled to find their groove on the offensive end, shooting on 31% from the field and connecting on only 4-of-22 from 3-point land.
The Gators took control of the game right away in the first quarter, holding the Dolphins to just 11 points on 26% shooting, while shooting 59% from the field and connecting on 4-of-7 from 3-point land in the quarter.
Sage cooled off a little bit in the second quarter CMSV was unable to chip away at the lead as the Gators led 48-24 at halftime.
It was much of the same in the second half, with Sage controlling the score and continuing to make shots at a 40% clip while the Dolphins only made shots a 30% clip.
