RIVERDALE, NY - The CMSV Women's Soccer team returned to action on Saturday afternoon, hosting Skyline Conference rival St. Joe's-LI in the Dolphins final conference game of the season. 

CMSV scored twice in the first half and cruised to a comfortable 3-0 lead on wet and soggy day at Marilac Field. The victory improves the teams record to 10-6-0 and 7-2-0 in conference play.

In the 5' of play, the Dolphins sent in a cross, which deflected off a Golden Eagles defender and crossed the goal line to give the home side an early 1-0 advantage. 

The Mount continued to dominate possession over the next 10+ minutes of play attempting two more shots, both by Julia McGowan. 

The Dolphins got their brace in the 15' when Caroline Criscuola accepted a pass from Kelly Gibison and sent a looping shot toward the net and beat the St. Joe's keeper. 

The Dolphins keeper, Elizabeth Martin was stellar over 90' netting her 6th clean sheet of the season, making five saves on the day. 

Conditions on the field continued to worsen as the second half progressed but the Dolphins were able to control possession. McGowan netted her conference leading 17th goal of the season in the 72'. McGowan now needs only one more goal this season, to tie the Dolphins single season goal record.
