In the second quarter, the Falcons led by double digits the majority of the period as both teams traded baskets but Albertus Magnus would end the quarter scoring five straight points to take a 47-31 lead into halftime.
The Dolphins would chip away at the lead in the fourth quarter, after
Christina Barone nailed a 3-pointer to make the score 66-58 and a jumper by Gundermann with just over five minutes left would cut the lead to 69-61, but it would be CMSV's last field goal. The Falcons would close the game out on an 11-4 to secure the victory.
