Following a Michelle Lupoli jumper that pulled St. Joseph's even at 2-2 in the opening minutes on Saturday, the Dolphins put together a 20-0 run to break the game open on a Kelly Nola (Staten Island, N.Y.) bucket that pushed the Dolphins in front 22-2 with 10:44 left in the first half.

Over the 20 point run, that spanned over seven minutes, Mount Saint Vincent went 8-for-9 from the floor, including a 4-for-4 effort from behind the arc. The Dolphins were led by five points each from Carey, Brittany Carroll (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Allison Clarke (East Northport, N.Y.) over the spurt and held St. Joseph's without a field goal in eight attempts.

Mount Saint Vincent allowed the Golden Eagles to get back to within 16 points twice the remainder of the half, but a pair of Barone free-throws with 1:11 left before the break gave the Dolphins a 35-17 lead at the intermission. The Mount held St. Joseph's without a field goal over the final two minutes of the frame.

Carey and Clarke led the Mount at halftime with eight points each as the Dolphins shot 44.4-percent from the floor, including a 5-for-7 effort from behind the arc. The Mount Saint Vincent defense held the Golden Eagles to 21.4-percent in the opening period.

The Dolphins opened their largest lead of the game just under six minutes into the second half when Carey buried a three-point field goal to push the Mount in front 50-24 with 14:31 left to play.

St. Joseph's would whittle its deficit down to 10 points on an Andrea Iavarone conversion with 6:42 left in regulation that closed an 18-2 run that covered nearly eight minutes. The Dolphins attempted just three field goals over the run and turned the ball over eight times.

Mount Saint Vincent would not let the Golden Eagles any closer and finished off the game scoring 17 of the final 26 points to earn the season sweep of St. Joseph's and equal its win total from a season ago. Over the final five minutes, the Mount converted seven of its eight free-throws to secure the victory.

Fraser led all scorers in the game with 18 points, going 7-for-13 from the floor and adding 14 rebounds. Carey rounded out the game 6-for-9 from the field and 3-for-4 from three-point range on her way to 16 points. She added six rebounds and three assists.

Barone chipped in with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists, converting on six of her seven free-throw attempts.

St. Joseph's got a double-double from Iavarone who finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds, with Jackie Zizzo and Meaghan Haber each scoring 12 points.
