NEWBURGH, NY - The #6 CMSV Women's Soccer team took on #3 Mt. St. Mary's College in a quarterfinal matchup on Saturday afternoon, with the MSMC Knights coming away with a 4-0 victory to advance to the Skyline Semifinals.

The Dolphins fell behind in the 4' when the Knights scored their first goal off of a corner kick taken by Alaina Neddermann that found Destiny Ribadeneyra's foot to make the score 1-0.

The Knights added two more goals but the Dolphins nearly got one back in the 39' but Erica Lencsak's shot hit the crossbar and bounced out of bounds. THe Knights would take a 3-0 lead into halftime.

In the 2nd half, the Dolphins held back the Knights offense with keeper Elizabeth Martin stopping four of five shots in the period. In the 81' minute the Knights struck again as Bridget McKeever put one inside the near post off of a corner kick taken by Ribadeneyra.

The Dolphins finish the season with a 6-12 record but will return all but one player from this years team, including leadidng goal scorer Julia McGowan.
