History
With its 76-59 win at Farmingdale State on Thursday, the Mount Saint Vincent earned its way to the first conference championship game in program history.

The Dolphins will enter Saturday's tilt with the Gators at 18-8 overall on the season. The win total is the most since Mount Saint Vincent finished the 2009-10 season at 18-10. Prior to that year, the Dolphins had not won more than 18 games in a season since going 21-7 during the 2007-08 campaign.

How The Dolphins Advanced – Semifinal vs. Farmingdale State
Mount Saint Vincent took care of Farmingdale State on Thursday behind the 20
th double-double of the season from junior
Kelly Fraser (Staten Island, N.Y.). Fraser went 12-for-19 from the floor against the Rams on her way to finishing with a game-high 28 points. She also hauled in 21 rebounds, matching her career-high in the category. Fraser, who earlier on Thursday was named First Team All-Skyline Conference and the league's Defensive Player of the Year, totaled a pair of blocks in the game for the Mount.

Christina Barone (Staten Island, N.Y.) wrapped up the semifinal with 13 points after going 7-for-12 from the free-throw line. She added seven rebounds for the Dolphins and handed out a game-high eight assists.
Theresa Carey (Hampton Bays, N.Y.) netted nine points and
Brittany Lee (Newton, N.J.) totaled eight points in the win.

After shooting 60-percent in the second half, Mount Saint Vincent finished the game converting at a season-high 51-percent rate from the floor. The Dolphins outscored the Rams 36-14 in the paint and held Farmingdale State to 26.1-percent shooting in the game.

Scouting Sage
The Gators earned the third seed in the conference tournament after finishing the regular season with a 15-9 overall record and a 10-4 mark in Skyline Conference games. Including a 73-66 at Purchase on Thursday, Sage has won eight of its last 11 outings, including each of its last three.

Megan Bowman leads Sage with 12.4 points per game this season and is also good for 5.4 assists per game to go along with 69 steals. In Thursday's semifinal at Purchase, Bowman scored a game-high 23 points for the Gators and added six assists.

Freshman Frankie Pearson, a Second Team All-League selection and Rookie of the Year, is scoring 9.2 points per game for the Gators and Amie Jefferson is posting 6.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game and has blocked a team-high 24 shots. Against Purchase on Thursday she posted a double-double with 17 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

The Series
Since the start of the 2007-08 season, the Dolphins and Gators have hooked up 14 times. Mount Saint Vincent has won eight of those meetings, including the first six of that stretch. Sage has won six of the last eight contests, including a 68-66 home win on February21.
