Albany, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Men's Soccer team dropped an important Skyline Conference road decision on Saturday afternoon, falling at Sage by a score of 4-0. Sophomore goalkeeper 
David Melchor (Los Angeles, Calif.) closed the day with seven saves for the Dolphins. 
In a tightly contested first half, Sage broke through with the eventual game winning goal late in the opening stanza. Peter Fabrykiwicz potted his seventh goal of the season on a penalty kick at 43:22 to give the Gators a 1-0 lead heading into halftime. 
Sage finished the opening half with an 8-4 edge in shots, while the Dolphins took two of the three corner kicks in the opening 45 minutes. Melchor made four of his seven stops on the afternoon prior to halftime. 
Coming out of halftime, Sage broke the game open with three goals over a nearly 16 minute stretch. Derlis Zayas started the string with his second goal of the season at 52:16 before Fayssal Abdou netted his first of the season in the 63
rd minute. The productive stretch was closed out by Tyler Denton who finished off his third tally of the season off a pass from Fabrykiwicz at 67:52. 
Sage did not allow a Mount Saint Vincent shot in the second half, getting off 11 attempts and converting on three. The Gators also took the only three corner kicks after halftime. 
Melchor would made three more saves after halftime on Saturday for the Dolphins, pushing his season total to 78 on the season. 
Michael Giraldi (Sicklerville, N.J.) made his second appearance in goal of the season for the Dolphins, playing 13:49 on Saturday. T.J. Zehner picked up the win for Sage with a single save in the game. 
Mount Saint Vincent was outshot on Saturday 19-4, with Sage also holding the edge in corner kicks 4-2.

Jaime Salazar (Long Beach, Calif.) each recorded a shot in the game for the Dolphins. 
With Saturday's loss, Mount Saint Vincent falls back below the .500 mark at 8-9 overall and to 4-4 in conference play. Next up for the Dolphins is the regular season finale against Purchase on Wednesday. Kick-off with the Panthers at the Athletic Field at Marillac is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
