Morristown, N.J. – Led by two goals and five points from junior
Victoria Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.), the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Soccer team posted its fifth straight win on Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 road win at the College of St. Elizabeth. It is the second time this season the Dolphins have won five straight contests.

Mount Saint Vincent got the scoring started early on Sunday afternoon with three goals inside the first six minutes of the game. Senior
Shannon Doyle (Central Islip, N.Y.) scored her fourth goal of the season and her second game winning goal at the 3:18 mark when she cleaned up a rebound off an Astorino shot to give the Dolphins and early 1-0 lead.

Astorino would score her first of the game just over a minute after the Doyle tally when she finished off a pass from
Erin Dailey (East Windsor, N.J.).
Courtney LaTorre (Denville, N.J.) closed out the opening surge from the Mount with her third goal of the season, an unassisted marker at the 5:31 mark of the contest.

The Dolphins would net two more goals before halftime on Sunday with a pair of players finding the back of the net for the first time in their careers. Sophomore
Elizabeth Gancalves (Howell, N.J.) scored her first of the season at the 17:44 mark and classmate
Casey Coyle (Freehold, N.J.) added her first career goal at 19:20.

Mount Saint Vincent closed the first half with a 16-1 advantage in shots and a 3-0 edge in corner kicks. Freshman
Elizabeth Martin (Lawrenceville, N.J.) was forced to make one save in the opening stanza, while St. Elizabeth keeper Carla Martinez made 10 stops in the opening period.

The Mount got back on the board in the first minute of the second half when
Sophia Cunningham (Flushing, N.Y.) scored at the 45:59 mark of the tilt. She finished off a pass from
Lauren Tate (Toms River, N.J.) who picked up her third assist of the season. With the goal, every field player who has appeared in a game for Mount Saint Vincent has scored a goal.
Astorino would close out the scoring in the game with her second tally in the 71
st minute.
Joyce Pagliuca (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) picked up the assist on the play that gave the Dolphins their 63
rd goal of the season.

Mount Saint Vincent finished the game with a 23-2 advantage in shots and took all seven corner kicks in the match. Martin finished the one save and picked up her eighth win of the season, while Martinez made 14 stops in the game.

Sunday's win moves Mount Saint Vincent to 10-2 overall, giving the Mount double figures in wins for the second straight season and for the third time since the 2004 season. The Dolphins will return to league play on Wednesday when it travels to Maritime. Kick-off with the Privateers s set for 7:00 p.m.
