Yonkers, N.Y. – Behind a pair of goals from Gabriella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) and Louisa Jamgochian (Olney, Md.) the College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Soccer team cruised to a 5-0 win over local rival Lehman on Saturday night. The win is the team's third straight shutout victory.

Mount Saint Vincent got the game winning goal in the first minute on Saturday after Vanessa Cornacchio (Oceanside, N.Y.) tallied her team leading fifth goal of the season. She took a through ball from Jamgochian and deposited the ball inside the right post just 25 seconds into the contest.

Astorino followed with back-to-back goals just over seven minutes apart to give the Dolphins a commanding 3-0 advantage 10 minutes into the match. Her first goal came off a feed from Courtney LaTorre (Denville, N.J.) and her second was a chip from 20 yards that floated just out of the reach of the Lehman keeper.

Jamgochian got the Dolphins back on the board in the 41st minute off a scramble inside the six yard box. Victoria Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) nudged the ball to Jamgochian's foot and she finished off her third goal of the season. The assist from Astorino was the first of her career and her first point of the season.

Jamgochain closed out the scoring in the 49th minute for the Dolphins when she won a battle for the ball at the top of the box and buried her second of the game under the bar for the five goal advantage.

Junior goalkeeper Kelly Hilly (Massapequa, N.Y.) earned the win in goal and combined on her second shutout of the season. She was forced to make one stop in the game as she moved to 2-1 on the season. Laura Schools (East Northport, N.Y.) combined on her third shutout of the season after working the final 28:58 on Saturday.

Overall on the night, Mount Saint Vincent outshot Lehman 21-1 and took all six corner kicks in the contest. In their four wins this season the Dolphins have not allowed a goal and are outscoring their opponents 23-1.

Saturday's win pushes Mount Saint Vincent to 4-1 overall on the season. Next up for the Dolphins in a trip to King's (Pa.) for a non-conference matchup on Wednesday. Kick-off in Scranton, Pa. is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
