David Melchor (Los Angeles, Calif.) made a pair saves in the Dolphins' thrilling 1-0 overtime win against Hunter on Saturday. The Dolphins ran their winning streak to four games and have yet to allow a goal this season.

After playing 90 minutes of scoreless soccer on Saturday, Mount Saint Vincent finally broke through at the 95:18 mark of the match. After collecting the ball and maneuvering into the box, Jardines buried the game winning goal inside the left post for the one goal victory. It marked Jardines third goal of the season and gives the Dolphins their longest winning streak since a five game mark in 2005.

Melchor was again strong for the Dolphins in goal and has opened his career with 348 scoreless minutes. He made one save in each half on Saturday and now stands at 4-0 on the young season. His counterpart from Hunter, Emmanuel Aprilakis, stopped seven shots.

Jardines and
Eric Lara (Pawtucket, R.I.) each led the Mount with seven shots on the afternoon, with
Victor Ramirez (Los Angeles, Calif.) getting off four shots. Diego Cisneros, Diego Mercado and Brandon Fiscina each got off shots for Hunter.

Mount Saint Vincent carried the play on Saturday and outshot the visitors 22-3 overall and 8-2 in shots on goal. The Dolphins also took all five corner kicks that were awarded in the contest. Through four games in 2013, Mount Saint Vincent it outshooting its opponents 79-22 and outscoring them 20-0.

After winning a total of six games over the past three years, Mount Saint Vincent stands at 4-0 to open the 2013 campaign. The Dolphins will look to make it five straight on Sunday afternoon when they play host to Cooper Union. Kick-off at Tibbetts Brook Park is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
