Riverdale, N.Y. – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball team will make its third straight appearance in the Skyline Conference Tournament and its fourth in the last five years on Wednesday when it hosts fifth seeded Mount Saint Mary. The quarterfinal match at the Peter Jay Sharp Center is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

At A Glance: Mount Saint Vincent will enter Wednesday night's contest at 8-17 overall and 6-3 against league opponents. The six league wins are the most on record and 2013 marks the first winning season within the conference since 2010.

Freshman
Maria Leineweber (Waimanalo, Hawaii) leads the way for Mount Saint Vincent in her first collegiate season with 204 kills and 33 total blocks. She is also second on the team in service aces with 42 and digs with 196. Leineweber has posted double-figures in kills nine times this season, including 17 in a 3-2 win over Mount Saint Mary on October 27.

2012 Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year,
Ashleigh Scozzari (New Rochelle, N.Y.), sits second on the team with 177 kills and leads the squad in kills per set at 3.11. Scozzari is also second on the team in total blocks with 30 and the team leader in blocks per set with 0.53.

Zana Daluz (Pawtucket, R.I.) has had a strong all-around 2013 season and has totaled team-highs in assists with 479 and service aces with 53. Daluz also leads the team with 210 digs and has totaled 17 blocks for the Dolphins. Classmate
Jennifer Roman (Queens Village, N.Y.) enters Wednesday's contest third on the team with 175 digs.

Head Coach Meghan Flaherty: Head Coach Meghan Flaherty '08 has guided the Dolphins to their third straight tournament appearance in her third season at the helm. She has posted 29 overall wins and 14 league victories heading into Wednesday's quarterfinal.

Scouting Mount Saint Mary: The Knights will head to Riverdale on Wednesday sporting a 16-19 overall record and a 6-3 league mark. Mount Saint Mary finished out the regular season winners of five of its final seven matches, including a 3-0 sweep of Old Westbury in the regular season finale.

Rachel Sabatini leads three Knights with at least 200 kills with 286 during the regular season, with Katie Lynch adding 227 and Kayla Kurka putting away 215. Kurka paces the team with a .291 hitting percentage.

Claire Scully has handed out a team-high 640 assists, good for a per set average of 7.44, while Kaitlin O'Brien in one of seven Knights with at least 20 service aces with a team-high 70. Jen Greis has totaled a team-high 416 digs and Natalie Campanelli leads the team with 40 total blocks.

The 2013 Match-Up: Mount Saint Vincent earned a 3-2 win over visiting Mount Saint Mary on October 27. The win snapped a 10 match losing skid against the Knights and earned the Dolphins the fourth seed in the league tournament. Leineweber had a big match for the Dolphins with 17 kills, a .349 hitting percentage and a pair of total blocks.

Skyline Conference Tournament: Farmingdale State and Purchase will play in the other quarterfinal match on Wednesday night with the winners of Wednesday's matches advancing to the Semifinal round on the campus of Mount Saint Mary on November 9. The winner of the Dolphins' match will take on top seeded Sage, with the other winner matching up with St. Joseph's-L.I.Â
