BRONX, NY – The College of Mount Saint Vincent Women's Volleyball team defeated Lehman on

Saturday by a score of 3-2. Scores of the sets were 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 22-25, and 15-11 in favor of the Dolphins. 
Lisa O'Shea (White Plains, NY) had a strong match for the Mount, as she finished the day with 12 kills and 20 digs.
O'Shea was one of two Mount Saint Vincent players to record a double-double on the afternoon. She was joined by freshman setter Krystal Miranda (Putnam Valley, NY) who finished with 33 assists to go along with 19 digs. 
Sophomore Christina Pierre (Bronx, NY) also had a strong afternoon, finishing with 17 kills and posting a match-high hitting percentage of .325. Pierre also had three defensive digs in the match to go along with three solo blocks. 
The Dolphins had five players record double figure digs in the match, as they were led by freshman Renee Reynes (Bronx, NY) who finished with 21. Jessica Williams (Cornwall, NY) finished up with 16 digs to go along with nine kills and Irma Nepomuceno (Bronx, NY) recorded 11 digs and six kills for the Mount. 
Gerri-Ann Martin led Lehman on Saturday with 21 kills and 16 digs. Jillian Acevedo and Dilma Marte each recorded 27 digs for the Lightning, while Lisa Jagdeo led the team in assists with 27. 
The victory improves Mount Saint Vincent's overall record to 7-4 on the season. The Dolphins will return to action on October 2 when they host the College of Staten Island. The home match is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Hayes Gymnasium.
