Renee Reynes (Bronx, NY) posted a match-high 21 digs.
Pierre led the Dolphins in winners on the night and also finished with one of the team's two total blocks. Junior Lisa O'Shea (White Plains, NY) also had a solid match for the Mount, finishing the night with six kills to go along with four defensive digs.
Reynes finished the contest one shy of her career mark in digs with her 21. She was also the team leader in service aces on the night, posting three of the squad's seven. Freshman Krystal Miranda (Putnam Valley, NY) finished the night with a team-high 12 assists.
Sage hit .247 in the match as a team and was led by Nicole Corbett with 10 kills. She finished the match with a .444 hitting percentage and posted four total blocks. Kaitlin Olmstead finished with a match-high 25 assists and Kelsey Wilson led the way for the Gators in digs with 13.
The loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 4-3 overall on the season and to 0-1 in Skyline Conference competition. The Dolphins will be back in action again on Saturday, September 20 when they host a Skyline Conference tri-match. The Mount will tangle with Maritime at 10:00 a.m. and then with St. Joseph's (LI) at 2:00 p.m.
