Gentsch (Staten Island, NY) added a goal and an assist to help the Mount Saint Vincent Women's Soccer squad to a 5-0 win over Yeshiva (0-2, 0-2 Skyline) on Tuesday night. Freshman goalkeeper

The Dolphins got on the board just under three minutes into the contest, when Kelly Curran (Wharton, NJ) finished a feed from Gentsch after a scramble in front of the goal for the eventual game winner. The Mount would score two more goals in the opening half, as Gentsch scored at the 5:29 mark and Buzzetta netted her first at 36:12. Lauren Perla (Holbrook, NY) picked up the assist on Gentsch's marker, while Maria Marisco (Chappaqua, NY) recorded her first career point with a helper on Buzzetta's goal.
Buzzetta picked up her second of the game and of the season at 55:31 in the second half on an unassisted goal to push the Mount lead to 4-0. Senior Jessica McBain (Troy, NY) closed out the scoring in the 68th minute on Tuesday to send the Dolphins to their first win of the season.
Mount Saint Vincent had four different goal scorers in the game and had three players pick up assists in the win. Curran and Gentsch each finished the contest with seven shots, combining for 14 of the Dolphins 38 in the tilt.
Kaufmann finished the night with seven saves in goal to record her first career win and her first career shutout. She moves her record to 1-2 on the season and has now made a team-high 21 saves in her rookie campaign.
Overall in the match, Mount Saint Vincent held the edge in shots 38-14 and in corner kicks at 4-1. Of the 38 shots the Mount took 22 were on goal, as Yeshiva keeper Tamar Kram made 17 stops. Fouls in the contest were even at 12 apiece.
With the win the Dolphins improve to 1-2 overall on the season and to 1-0 in Skyline Conference play. Mount Saint Vincent will be back in action again on Wednesday afternoon when it hosts the College of Saint Elizabeth. Kick-off at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
