Alexis Alessi (Rockville Centre, NY) made 18 saves for the Dolphins in the game.
After playing a scoreless first half, Purchase scored the only marker of the contest at the 59:16 mark of the match. Susan Bigler took a pass from Kayla Garner and finished the game winning goal. Bigler was one of seven Purchase players with at least two shots in the game, leading the way with 12.
Alessi's 18 stops improves her career high for saves in a season, giving her 161 stops this year. Purchase keeper Stephanie Janasiewicz was forced to make just three saves on Monday.
At 6-10 overall on the season, the Dolphins finished the Skyline season with a 3-6 mark. Mount Saint Vincent will be back on the pitch on Thursday, November 1 when it hosts CCNY in a Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Semifinal contest. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers.
