Carlo Malerba (Derby, CT) made 14 saves in the match for the Dolphins.
NYU used four goals inside the final 25 minutes of the first half to pull ahead by a commanding 4-0 score. Branden Neal scored three of the foul goals for the Violets, while Adam Fein posted two assists in the opening half.
Malerba went the full 90:00 for the Dolphins and made 14 stops in the contest. Malerba now hold the team lead in saves on the season with 29.
The loss drops Mount Saint Vincent to 0-6 overall on the season.
