The 98 points allowed is also the most since Farmingdale State scored the same total on January 18, 2006. The turnover mark of 43 in the game is also a program high over the past five seasons. The number of turnovers is the most since committing 42 against Elmira on November 20, 2004.
After Farmingdale State jumped out to a 24-19 lead with 8:34 left in the first half, Mount Saint Vincent put together a 17-0 run keyed by 12 points from Mocanu. After that three-pointer, the Dolphins would score just six points over the next four minutes as Farmingdale St. closed to within nine points. The Rams would continue to methodically chip away at the Mount lead and finally knotted the score at 95-95 on a Gabrielle Green jumper in the lane with 48 ticks left in regulation.
Mount Saint Vincent would hold the Rams to just three points down the stretch, while the Mount used a jumper from Koerner and five free-throws to secure the win in the regular season finale.
