cruised to an 88-59 win over Bard on Tuesday night. Johnson was one of four to score in double-figures on the night, with Nick DiMaggio (Croton, N.Y.) leading the way with 16 points.

Johnson went 5-12 from the field overall and knocked down three treys on his way to 13 points. Tuesday was the sixth straight game that Johnson has scored at least 11 points and his marks in rebounds, assists and steals are all season-highs.

After Bard scored the opening bucket of the contest, the Mount used a 22-4 run to open a 16 point lead on a Joe Ecock (Brooklyn, N.Y.) lay-in with 11:23 remaining before the intermission. Bard responded with a 21-6 spurt of its own to cut the Mount lead to one point at 28-27 with 5:35 left in the stanza.

After a triple by Justin White to cap the Bard run and a timeout from the Mount, the Dolphins reeled off eight straight points in 48 seconds to push the lead back to nine. The Dolphins would carry that momentum through the remainder of the period and take a 46-31 advantage into the half.

Bard opened the second half with five straight points on a three from James Martin and a jumper from Elijah Strauss to cut its deficit to 10 points, but that would be as close as the Raptors would get the remainder of the contest. Mount Saint Vincent opened a lead as large as 32 points late in the half on a Tyler Muer (Goshen, N.Y.) jumper before taking the final 29 point decision.

DiMaggio finished the contest shooting 6-11 from the floor overall and 4-8 from distance. He also handed out four assists, as the Mount helped on 22 of its 33 field goals. Joe Cooke (Mount Vernon, N.Y.) posted 15 points in the contest on 6-10 shooting overall to go along with four rebounds.

Rounding out the quartet in double-figures was Ecock who finished with a career-high 13 points on 5-9 shooting, including three triples.

Overall in the game, Mount Saint Vincent shot 47.1-percent from the floor, including a 46.7-percent (14-30) clip from three-point land. The Mount defense forced 18 Bard turnovers and posted 30 points off of those. The Dolphins protected the ball in the contest, turning it over a season-low nine times.

Bard (0-16, 0-11 Skyline) had a pair of players score in double-figures with White netting 15 points and Martin posting 14. Strauss had a solid outing for the Raptors, scoring eight points and pulling down a game-high 11 boards.

The win is Mount Saint Vincent's fifth in its last seven games and moves its record to 10-7 overall and to 8-3 in league play. The win total is the highest the program has had since it won 13 in the 2004-05 season. Next up for the Dolphins is a home contest with Mount Saint Mary on January 31. Tip-off with the Blue Knights at Hayes Gymnasium is set for 3:00 p.m.
