hands of Farmingdale St. Freshman Carson Miller (New Oxford, Pa.) led five Dolphins in double-figures with 14 points to go along with 10 rebounds.

After the Dolphins jumped out to a 6-5 lead in the first five minutes of the game, Farmingdale St. responded with a 17-0 run over a span of over five minutes to pull in front 22-6.

The Dolphins would fight back to trim the lead to six points late in the first half on a Dino Johnson (Amsterdam, N.Y.) fast break lay in, but five quick points by the Rams highlighted by a Shahee Martin triple pushed the lead back to 11. The Dolphins would score the final four points of the half to trail just 29-22 at the break.

Mount Saint Vincent shot just 9-for-33 in the opening period, making just a pair of three pointers and going just 2-for-8 from the free-throw line. The Dolphins were led at the intermission by Miller who scored half of his total in the opening 20 minutes.

The Rams would quickly push their lead back to double-figures in the opening two and a half minutes of the second half and extended to 16 points after a key six point swing that included a technical foul and a three pointer on the ensuing possession.

Mount Saint Vincent would battle back and get the lead back down to just five points following a three point play from Miller and a trey from Johnson with just over seven minutes to play.

After Nikita Davis from Farmingdale and Sean Caputo (Staten Island, N.Y.) traded threes to keep the Ram lead at five, Johnson converted a pair of free-throws to get the deficit for the Dolphins down to one possession at 58-55 with 5:28 to play in the game.

Over the final five minutes of the contest Farmingdale St. would prove to be too much as it scored 11 of the final 18 points, including another big three pointer from Davis.

For the game the Rams had four in double figures led by Martin's 18 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds and swiped five steals. Terrence Howard came off the bench to post a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Miller finished the afternoon 6-for-10 from the field for the Dolphins and tied Howard for the game-high in rebounds with 11. Caputo and Johnson each finished with 12 points and combined to knock in six of the Mount's eight threes in the game.

The loss drops the Mount to 7-10 overall on the season and to 4-9 in Skyline Conference play. The Dolphins will hit the road on Wednesday night when they travel to league leading Old Westbury. Tip-off with the Panthers is set for 7:00 p.m.
