Queens, NY - The University of Mount Saint Vincent delivered a strong all-around performance to earn a convincing victory over York College, the program's first since its revival. The Dolphins last competed in men's tennis in 2009.
The Dolphins secured the doubles point with wins at number one and number three. The duo of Luka Gelevski and Jacob Greiffenberger cruised to a 6-1 victory at the top spot, while Brennan Sherman and David Hoagland added a 6-3 win at number three doubles.
In singles play, the Dolphins took control of the match, winning five of six flights. Gelevski set the tone with a commanding 8-0 win at number one singles, while Greiffenberger followed with an 8-3 victory at number two. Hoagland and Paul Simonet continued the strong showing with wins at numbers three and four, respectively, and Sherman added another decisive victory at number five singles.
